I’ve been on a bit of a dishcloth kick lately and today I have a new one to share, the Crochet Cabin Dishcloth! These cloths remind me of something you would find in a camp or cabin and folded over the kitchen sink, thus the name. [Read more…]

Today’s project was a long lost pattern I had made a few months ago, but forgot to post! Better late than never…right?? It was inspired by one of my boss’s cowls that she had worn to work this past winter. It was such a cute shape and a simple enough design that I knew I had to make one for myself! On my way home from work that afternoon I booked it straight to JoAnn’s and bought two wooden buttons and a couple skeins of yarn for good measure (impulse yarn purchase only… I already had what I needed for this. Ha!). [Read more…]

Hello again! I know that it has been a little while, and to be honest if you look at the past few posts I’ve written I’m pretty sure they have all started out with “it’s been a while…” or “it’s been a little quiet around here lately…” but, I am planning to change that! 🙂 I have a lot of fun ideas in the works for new fresh patterns, and project inspiration posts! My new goal is to post three times per week with a pattern round-up on Mondays, project or pattern on Wednesdays, and a project inspiration post on Fridays so please stay tuned!! [Read more…]
This post is a little different than what I normally share on here but I thought it might be fun to branch out from crochet hooks and yarn to talk about something all of us do everyday, at least 3 times… and that is eat! I always find it interesting to learn how other people meal plan, go about grocery shopping, and favorite go to recipes. Sometimes I get into a slump where cooking at home just seems like too much at the end of a long work day, but right now I am also at the point where no food that I would go out a get would be any better.
Do you, your friend, your child, or grandchild have a DS? My guess is you probably answered yes to at least one of the above and if you did you’re in luck! Today I am sharing with you a fun new pattern: the Crochet Owl DS case. This pattern was designed for the 3DS XL, and is so fun to make! [Read more…]

Hello again! Today I am sharing with you a pattern to create mini crochet baskets which are totally functional and super cute! I made a couple of them for drawer organizers because lord knows my drawers organizing. Below you can see one that I already put to work in my “nerd” drawer to hold my DS games, but really they could hold anything. I might make up a few in some neutral colors to hold soap in the bathroom or hold jewelry on my nightstand. [Read more…]
