Hello friends! Ok, this blog post is going to be a long one today but I think you are going to find it super helpful!

Maybe you are struggling with finding fun gift ideas for knitters in your life or you’ve been asked what’s on your list this year. When someone asks me what I want for a holiday or an upcoming birthday I seem to struggle with what to say, and my mind goes to a complete blank. Does this happen to you??

Or, maybe you have a knitter in your life and you want to get them something extra special, but have no idea where to start.

To help with this I’ve compiled a gift ideas for knitters wish list! Some of the items on here I currently have and am loving and the rest are on my personal wish list! My hope is that this compiled list will help take away some of your holiday gifting stress with some concrete ideas as well as some inspiration.

WHERE TO SHOP

There’s lots of options to choose from when scouting out gifts ideas for knitters. Below are some of my favorite places to get supplies! All of the listed ideas cover a wide range to fit most budgets. And whenever possible, I encourage you to explore and support your local yarn shop and / handmade businesses.

Special note: When shopping on Amazon and the large neighborhood craft stores, be sure to price check for the best deals AND check for available coupons! All prices listed below were current as of writing this blog post – some prices may have changed (and actually some prices have dropped!)!

• Local Yarn Shops – Almost everything on this list may be in your local yarn store, so be sure to check out the shops in your local area!
  • Not sure what to get? Try a gift card for a specific local shop or handmade shop!
• Etsy – I love Etsy for finding unique notions, bags, organization pouches, stitch marker charms, soaps, lotions, and apparel!
• Thrift Stores – Thrift shops are a great place to find affordable yarns, as well as craft supplies! Be sure to check out your local thrift store and see what gems you might find!
• Amazon – I love Amazon for finding affordable (and cute) notions and name brand knitting needle sets! Amazon usually beats out Michael’s, and JOANNs prices for these particular items.
• Knit Picks – Knit Picks is one of my favorite places to find affordable yet, luxurious yarns! They have loads of high quality yarns that won’t break the bank. Between their outstanding selection in colors and fibers and great prices you can’t really beat Knit Picks!
• Michaels – Great place to find yarns, individual knitting needles, and various notions when you want to shop in person!
• JOANNs – Also a great place to find yarns, individual knitting needles, and various notions when you want to shop in person!
• Olive & June – As knitters, we’re constantly LOOKING our hands. Why not make them fun to look at?? Olive & June is my ALL time favorite nail polish brand and my nail polishing regimen has become a staple of my weekly routine for the past year and a half.
