Romantic Neutral Scarf Pattern
The Romantic Neutral Scarf is the perfect project to whip up just in time for Valentine’s Day! The color mixture of dusty rose and warm creamy brown yarns give off just a subtle hint of pink so this scarf can be shown off at anytime – not just V-day!
Big surprise! Ta-da!!… I have new scarf pattern for you today! I’ve been on a complete scarf making kick lately and have been enjoying coming up with new designs! It’s been fun experimenting with stitch combinations and color variations like I did with the Textured Woodland Cowl and Mint Color Block Cowl. But this time, I wanted to play around with new textures!
The beautiful color and texture of this scarf are created by crocheting two different colors and types of yarn together. The yarns used in this project are Yarn Bee Romantique and Yarn Bee Snuggle Up. When I spotted these yarns in Hobby Lobby yesterday I just knew I had to have them and work them together into the same piece.
The end result is a luxuriously plush and neutral scarf that I will really enjoy adding to my wardrobe!
This project was the first time that I have ever worked with Yarn Bee Snuggle UP – a furry yarn, and I have to say it was super fun (see pattern difficulty disclaimer below)! Back in high school a couple years ago (or 11 :)), before I learned to crochet, a family friend had crocheted me a Fun Fir scarf and it was one of my FAVORITE pieces to wear in the winter.
At the time, it seemed Fun Fir scarves were all the rage and now you really don’t see them much anymore – I am hoping that they make a come back… and the Romantic Neutral Scarf is my attempt to bring them back!
Do you think you will give this pattern at try? If so keep reading below!

Difficulty disclaimer:
I will be completely honest – the PATTERN for this is super simple and beginner friendly but I don’t think I would recommend this project to a newbie-beginner. Because of the the furry yarn used in the pattern, it can be a bit difficult to see where you are supposed to make your stitches. I would highly recommend getting a few projects under your belt that feature the double crochet stitch first and then come back to this when you’re ready!
