Prismatic Circle Granny Square

Hello and welcome back to my blog!

A few years ago I published my Circle To Square Granny Square Pattern and it’s been a reader favorite ever since!  You can read more about it here, here and here.  I wanted to make a revamped version of that pattern and here’s what I came up with… the Prismatic Circle Granny Square motif!

The Prismatic Circle Granny Square is a variation of the Circle To Square Pattern that simply switches colors at the end of every round plus a new twist added on for the 6th round and the addition of a 7th round.  And…the addition of the 7th round yields a slightly larger square!

A perfect stash buster!

This project is a great stash buster for using up small balls of yarn leftover from various projects.  You’ll see below I’m using a few different brands of yarn for this project and that’s the reason why – this is a major stash buster for me!

I just love the look of these squares and think would be gorgeous stitched together as a baby blanket, lap wrap or afghan for the couch!  Just like a classic granny square, the possibilities for these little suckers are really endless!
